Examination AND PROMOTION

The progress of the pupils is evaluated by a Scheme of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation ( CCE). For this purpose the academic year has been divided into two terms. The first term will be from April to September and Second Term from October to March. Each term will have two formative assessments and one summative assessment.

For promotion, a student should get a minimum of 40% marks in each subject and at least D grade in Moral science / catechism, work experience, art education, physical education and in co- curricular activities. The promotion of a students to the next higher class is decided on the basis of his / her average performance and not by the marks attained at the Annual Examination..

The weightage of Formative Assessment (FA) and Summative Assessment (SA) shall as follows
